The North Wales Basketball Association was formed from the old Clywd Basketball Association in 1999. The CBA was formed in 1984 from the teams that played in the North Wales League which has its origins in the 1950's. The league now consists of Teams from North Wales, Cheshire and the Wirral. New teams are welcome, just contact the league secretary

Congratulations to Mold Basketball Club from Flintshire who won
Community Club of the Year Award 2012 and Flintshire's Sports
Personality of the Year Awards this evening.
This is the second year that the club has been nominated for
this award, and 2012 saw the club winning.

Congratulations to Pat Sanders for being shortlisted for
Volunteer of the Year Award at Flintshire's Sports Personality of
the Year Awards 2012.
Although not winning, she has defiantly won in the eyes of North
Wales Basketball. She is an amazing asset to Basketball in Wales
and the sport would not be the same without her. Pat's work is
often unseen and the work she does for the sport is crucial to
running the local league in North Wales Basketball.
